Darren & Leah married at the Glen Annie Golf Club in Santa Barbara on a beautiful late summer day.

Darren was SO excited to see Leah, it was absolutely adorable–he was all smiles and giggles.
Capturing the First Look is one of my favorite parts of the day. The photos speak for themselves–I just love being able to capture these pure emotions of happiness, love, and excitement for my couples. I am so honored to be able to be a part of such intimate and special moments. Don’t you love the last photo of Darren checking Leah out? Priceless!
Time permitting, I like to give my couples a few minutes alone to take the day in and appreciate what is going on. Very often, this will be the only time the bride and groom will have to themselves, so I definitely want to make sure they have these precious moments to share together.

Detail Shots from the wedding day…The first collage includes photos from the ceremony location. I have never seen the type of decor placed on the side of the chairs done before–they were practically awesome large flower balls! They were absolutely superb and served the double purpose of not only ceremony decorations, but then were placed in tin ‘vases’ and used for table centerpieces during the reception–very original and cute! The second collage includes photos of the seating chart (beach themed!) and other reception decor.
And, of course, photos from their beautiful ceremony…
This was such a sweet moment when Darren wiped a tear off Leah’s cheek…

Sneaking in another kiss after the wedding ceremony…
I absolutely loved that Leah’s dress was more of a creme color, rather than plain white. It was gorgeous as is, but the color gave it even more of a unique edge.
Bride and Groom formals on the bridge at Glen Annie Golf Club…Leah and Darren kept sneaking kisses to each other on the cheek throughout our photos together. It was totally impromptu and totally cute!
I have so much fun incorporating details from my couples’ wedding day into the formal photos. They spend so much time deliberating and planning these details, I want to make sure they’re remembered! And sometimes, it’s fun to incorporate unexpected details, as well. The purple/pink sunshade actually belonged to one of the guests. I saw her using it right before the ceremony and envisioned the perfect prop! I went up to her, and she immediately apologized and told me she wouldn’t be using it during the ceremony, so she wouldn’t disturb the photos–little did she know I actually wanted to USE the sunshade after the ceremony!
We took full advantage of all the nooks Glen Annie Golf Course has to offer for the bride and groom portraits!
Some more details from the reception portion of the night…the cupcakes were absolutely divine…providing flip-flops for your guests is always a nice gesture and tends to be much appreciated!
Let the dancing begin!
Leah & Darren and their friends and family rocked the dance-floor all night long!
Darren and Leah concluded their special day with a sparkler exit. What better way to end the festivities than by literally showing everyone your love? 😉
Congratulations Leah & Darren!
