Santa Barbara Photography Mini Sessions

Santa Barbara mini photography family sessionsI’m so excited to see you and create magical portraits for you! Here are a few FAQ’s to help you prepare for your Santa Barbara mini photo session:

-20-minute session

-Up to 5 people/fur babies ($15 per addition)

-10 digital images included (additional images can be purchased)

-Good for families, headshots, engagements, maternity, announcements, etc.

Sunday, November 1st, at:

The Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara

Alice Keck Park.

Both locations are across the street from each other, so I will be giving the choice between each location (or you can choose to do two back-to-back sessions if you want both locations for just $400 and 20 digital images).

The official address for The Unitarian Society (with Alice Keck Park being right across the street) is 1535 Santa Barbara St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101, but please plan to park nearby on East Arrellaga Street.

Here are images from The Unitarian Society, which offers more of an urban, architectural feel:Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara wedding photos.Wedding photos at The Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara.Wedding photos at the Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara.Wedding photos at the Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara.Wedding photos at the Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara.

And here are images from Alice Keck Park, which offers more of a kept-garden feel:

Please plan to be parked and ready to photograph 10-minutes prior to your official session start time. This will ensure we’re ready to start right on time and use all our photography time wisely. Please remember, sessions are booked back-to-back, so I am not able to extend photography time due to any tardiness.

For The Unitarian Society: Look for this building and meet right in front, on the Santa Barbara Street side:

Alice Keck Park for family photography.4) WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

Check out my family photo-session blog for that, click here!

For The Unitarian Society: The Unitarian Society has lots of brown and beige tones, so green, blue, white and purple tones would look great here.

For Alice Keck Park: Alice Keck Park has some Earthy-tones, as well as lots of greens, so blue and white tones look great here!

There’s a lot more information on the blog other than which colors to wear, so still be sure to read it!

Anything you need to ‘bribe’ your babes to be happy and cooperative is a great idea, whether that’s food or toys! If you want to bring any signage with you, feel free, just keep in mind we only have 20-minutes, so we want to focus on getting great shots of the entire family first and foremost!

Once the images have been edited, I will send you a link to an online, watermarked, low-resolution gallery. From there, you will choose which ten images you would like as part of your session fee, and you’ll have the option to purchase any additional images at that time. Once you’ve picked your images, I’ll send you a link to the unmarked, high-resolution photographs you’ve selected.

I have a two more spots available, so if you know anyone who needs to update their photos (family, headshots, maternity, announcement, engagement, etc.), please share the info with them. Remember, if you sign up and someone else signs up for a session based on your referral, you’ll both receive a $25 discount! Also, returning clients receive $25 credit towards additional digital images.

COVID-19 precautions: For everyone’s safety, I will be socially distancing and wearing a mask. I normally photograph from about 15 feet away, so that won’t have any impact on the photos.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
