When in France…find a castle, a cute couple, and let the magic commence! We had so much fun during Elise and Sébastien’s Carcassonne France engagement photographs, when we strolled around the Cité de Carcassonne, a medieval fortress and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Their joie de vivre and love felt like out of a fairytale, and the location matched 😉 From fortified walls and quaint streets, to archways and bridges, to cobblestones and castles, though it was an overcast day, the couple brought their own sunshine for their Carcassonne France engagement photographs!
I asked Elise and Sébastien to share a little about what makes their relationship work so well…
“We are both sensitive people, who have gone through turbulent and controling relationships in the past. Consequently, what makes us such a solid couple is that we appreciate more than most what freedom as a couple is about…”

I even enjoy being angry at him… (weird huh!). Because I know and he knows there is always enough space for discussion, disagreement and sharing…”
“…We have so much in common, yet we are opposites in so many aspects. And the most beautiful thing is that because we are aware, and are in peace and harmony about who we are as individuals, our strengths as a couple are beautifully amplified.”

While we walked all around the medieval fortress looking for unique spots for Sébastien and Elise’s Carcassonne France engagement photographs, they would sneak each other kisses and hugs throughout.
