Elopements are the perfect way for two people to celebrate their union in an intimate and stress-free way (as stress-free as any wedding-day can be!). Samantha and Jack’s Santa Barbara Courthouse elopement was just that–carefree and full of love. We started off at the Courthouse, and then continued to the Biltmore for even more picturesque locations, including Butterfly Beach.
The two had their civil ceremony performed through the Santa Barbara Courthouse, with the Courthouse as their gorgeous backdrop.
The two were able to enjoy the day to themselves…
From Samantha, “Since we plan to have two more celebrations later in the year with families and friends in Europe and in Asia, we wanted to first have a private weekend where the two of us could focus on each other and celebrate the union in a beautiful and relaxing setting without being overwhelmed or stressed.”When I asked why the duo chose the Courthouse and the Four Seasons for their special day, Samantha replied, “We loved the timeless architecture of the Courthouse and the beautiful and colorful scenery at the Four Seasons Biltmore.”
So what was their favorite part of their Santa Barbara elopement?
“We loved every minute of it! We wanted to savor every moment and celebrate our love and it absolutely served that purpose!”
After we took photos at the Four Seasons Biltmore, we crossed the street and took photos at Butterfly Beach.
What are the two most looking forward to as a married couple?
“First and foremost, we both look forward to creating a big family with kids, a dog, and of course, our favorite and ever-so-cute orange tabby named Simba. We also look forward to doing lots of traveling, not only to see our families abroad but also to immerse our kids in different cultures around the world and to give back.”Here’s to celebrating love, in every way, big and small!
