Andrea+Robert | Butterfly Preserve Engagement Photographs

Butterfly Preserve Photo-15

When I met with Robert+Andrea at The Daily Grind coffee shop to chat about their Santa Barbara wedding, I immediately knew I wanted to be a part of their special day. The conversation flowed, they were easy-going and fun, and they had a cute love story (including Andrea initially thinking Robert didn’t like her!). I had a great time photographing the two of them at the Coronado Butterfly Preserve in Goleta for their engagement photos. We spent the evening frolicking in the grass, and got our work-out on by going to the bluffs to catch the gorgeous sunset. Enjoy the photos!

I absolutely love the woodsy feel the Butterfly Preserve has throughout–would never guess we were in Santa Barbara, California!

I love the dramatic feeling of this area…the dark backdrop against Robert and Andrea’s fair skin is a beautiful contrast!
