When Molly and Dan asked to do their engagement in Ojai, California, I was ecstatic! As much as I love Santa Barbara, getting to photograph in new locations is great to get the creative juices flowing!
They took me to Molly’s old school, where we took a walk through the oak tree trails, around the school, and then headed to a field full of blooming yellow flowers to catch the last glimmers of sunlight!
Oh, that light!!!! I couldn’t have asked Dan & Molly for a better engagement session spot!
These two were perfectly fine being goofy, hanging out, snuggling up, smooching or just hugging it out…
Next came Molly’s old school, which gave the photographs more of a rustic feel…
As we wrapped up our time at the school and by the oak tree trails, I suggested we grab a few more frames at the beautiful flower fields we had passed on our way up. Luckily, Dan and Molly had the same thoughts exactly! A quick Google search suggests these are collard greens flowers? Any confirmation?
I had to capture a photo of the ring hanging on the collard greens flower’s stem!
Gosh, Molly and Dan got so cute and snuggly! I absolutely love the yellow flower contrast!
I’m eagerly awaiting Dan & Molly’s May Ojai wedding! 🙂
