Growing up, my family had no professional photos taken, and off the top of my head I can’t think of a single group family photo of us. Needless to say, since becoming a photographer, I’ve made a concerted effort to photograph my parents and brother. My fantastic, loving, supportive and hilarious parents were my first session of the year, once returning from my South American travels (more coming on that, I promise!), and they rocked it!
I wanted to take full advantage of the wildflowers while they were still in bloom! These purple lupine flowers were gorgeous…Found in a field in Thousand Oaks.
Why did the family cross the road? To get a different (even better?) California mountain-view, of course!
And what’s a couple’s session without a little bit of sunset sunshine to top it off?
And now….for the icing on the cake…I didn’t post these two photos in the original blog, but my mom insisted I add them. I present to you, my parents!
Thank you to my crazy, unique, caring parents for always being there for me, for always listening and giving advice, and for just generally being fun to be around. Oh, and for letting me take photos of them 😉
