Pure joy is how I would describe this Spanish Garden Inn wedding. From the relaxed mood Melissa was in when we arrived, to the love and happiness that was emanating from Robert and Melissa throughout the day, to their helpful and friendly family and friends, this Santa Barbara wedding was simply pure joy from every which way.
Below is a slideshow from their special day. To view the photos at your own pace, scroll below. Enjoy!
Melissa’s bouquet and dress were both beautiful.
Melissa had a locket with a photo of her mother attached to her bouquet.
Between the gorgeous landscaping, architecture & design, the Spanish Garden Inn was the perfect location for Getting Ready photos, as well as the First Look and Bride and Groom portraits. I hadn’t heard of it previously, and am so happy Melissa introduced me to it! It’s small and quaint and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful–highly recommended!
Once Melissa got ready, it was time for the couple’s First Look. The tears were flowing, and this was, without a doubt, one of the most precious, loving, and emotional First Looks I’ve been a part of.
After the First Look we spent some time taking more bride and groom photos at the Spanish Garden Inn. For such a small hotel, this place had so many great spots!
Showing off the stunning succulent and roses bouquet (among many other flowers and plants!).
Next came time to head on over to the Santa Barbara Courthouse for more bride and groom photos, and the ceremony. We started off with this silhouette in a doorway.
Melissa showed off her amazing figure in this Courthouse window silhouette.
Right before the ceremony we got a few moments to photograph our beautiful Santa Barbara bride.
The ceremony was short, sweet and filled with tears and laughter.
Next came family and friends photos.
The flowers were in bloom at the Santa Barbara Courthouse, which was perfect for my vision!
After the Courthouse, we snuck over to Hammonds Beach to capture photos with this magnificent trail leading up to the beach–right in time for sunset photos on the beach!
If they weren’t kissing, hugging or snuggling, these two were making each other laugh uncontrollably.
Details, details, details!
Melissa & Robert were so easy to be around and photograph and were so comfortable being themselves with each other and with me. They didn’t have a care in the world and words cannot express how clear it is to see they were meant for each other and are going to live a happy and long life.
Congratulations Robert & Melissa!
