Sarah+Greg | Stow House Engagement Photographs

The Stow House is one of my favorite spots in the Santa Barbara area for engagement photos, so, needless to say, I was happy when Greg+Sarah decided that’s where they wanted to have their engagement session. Having been referred to me by one of my favorite couples, Gabriela+Ryan, I knew Sarah+Greg had to be pretty cool…and they are!

As usual, they began by telling me Greg hated being in front of the camera and was dreading this day…I’m happy to report he didn’t think it was too treacherous, and I’d venture to say they both even had fun! 😉  I do believe it shows in the photos–here are some of my favorites from their session, enjoy!

This ring…aside from being gorgeous, there’s a super cute story to go along with it! Sarah had been eying this ring for quite some time, but wasn’t ready to commit to it. One day, her and Greg went back to the jewelry story, and it was gone! Sarah was so devastated…until Greg proposed with it! Knowing how much Sarah wanted this ring, Greg had been sneaky and went in and bought the ring for Sarah. Mission accomplished!

I’m a happy camper when couples can feel free to be silly and have fun in front of me!

This spot at the Stow House was my favorite for this session…the colors, the light, the couple….

And, of course, we had to play with the sun at least a little bit……

Here’s to March, 2015! 😉
