I was sitting on the beach on an unusually warm March day (even for Israel!), soaking up the sun and enjoying good company. My brother, who was visiting Israel with me, was asked what the weather ‘back-home’ was now. Having had a stop-over in D.C. on my way to Israel, I recalled all the white stuff everywhere. I can’t even remember the last time I saw snow before then! This got me thinking…A) I hadn’t taken photos with my sweetie in I don’t know how long and B) how cool would it be to have photos in my portfolio WITH SNOW? Not too many Southern California photographers do, after all ๐
After posting in a photographers’ forum, Stephanie reached out to me and a date was set to trade photos once I was back in Reston, Virginia, and my sweetie flew out for our planned week-long stay. Unfortunately, by the time we returned, all the snow had melted. Womp, womp! Stephanie and I decided to still move forward with the shoot, sans snow, but still with a wintery feel–hey, you can never have enough awesome, professional photos of you and your partner! Enjoy!
I absolutely loved this path with the trees arching over it.
Perfect spot for romance…and apparently, Jared and Stephanie thought the same! ๐
Sometimes, the lingering moment right before the kiss is even better than the kiss itself…….
The secret to a happy marriage–being able to have fun with one another! Even when faced with a challenge…or a camera… ๐
So this does not exist in Santa Barbara, California. Love, love, love the wintery feel the trees provided, and Jared and Stephanie’s chemistry was perfect for heating things back up!
Have I mentioned I love the trees? And silhouettes?
